Havener'S Hotel - Fowey

Neat rooms with lovely decor with good views.

I received excellent service.

Had nice 2 nights here. The location of the hotel was incredible and stunning - around 10-15 minutes walk from Fowey Aquarium. Had facilities needed in my twin room, including an electric kettle, central heating, iron and ironing board.

would like to stay longer

The twin room had a comfy bed, tv, quality towels, and a private bathroom with a walk-in shower. Loved the location right on the waterfront, with awesome sea and estuary views. Breakfast included freshly baked croissants and organic juices. The staff were super friendly and helpful.

The location by the waterfront was fine! The fish I had was the best I've ever eaten.

only complaints were the strong door closers which were kinda annoying, and the cushion in a sling for the headboard didn't cover the whole bed.

The location offers fine river views. The service was great. I enjoyed the delicious seafood at dinner. Breakfast included freshly baked croissants. My stay in the cozy twin room was perfect.

The place is a perfect base for exploring Cornwall, with great spots to visit like the sandy cove for swimming and a vibrant local market. The super nice team, and the breakfast was delicious. Just so nice to relax after a day on the water or hiking.

The windows in the top bedroom could have used a bit more cleaning, but that's a minor detail.

Really good waterfront views from the rooms. The interior decor adds a cozy ambiance, nicely complementing the vibrant local market scene just a short stroll away.

Access to the rooms involves trekking up around ten steep steps, which could be a bit of a hassle for anyone with mobility issues. On top of that, there could be better communication regarding parking. The lot isn't close, and finding a spot during peak times can be a bit nerve-wracking. It would've been nice to have a few coffee sachets provided in the room instead of relying on the coffee machine every time.

Charming Stay with Room for Improvement

A lovely getaway with friendly staff and quick service. Enjoyed good cream teas , though the dinner left us wanting more. Easy access to the local area, but plan your parking ahead as it's a challenge. A few upgrades needed in the accommodations.

We really enjoyed the cozy decor with the Elemis products and fluffy towels. The sun terrace was a fantastic spot to relax and take in the view, and we loved unwinding by the pool as well. Just a heads up, the pillows could use a bit more support, but that didn't take away from our lovely experience! 😊

Had a good stay at Havener's. The staff provided a warm welcome, and I loved the beautiful river views from my room. Breakfast options impressed, especially the locally sourced ingredients. A bit noisy from the street, but it added to the vibrant atmosphere of Fowey.

The fish & chips were surprisingly good, especially for someone who isn't a big fan. I did face some issues like the limited gluten-free options and the somewhat chilly interior, which detracted from the overall comfort. The service was friendly and attentive throughout.

The cozy twin room had a fantastic view of the waterfront. Breakfast was a treat with freshly baked croissants and excellent coffee that exceeded my last experiences in fowey.
